About the area
Welcome to Corfu, the enchanting jewel of the Ionian Sea, and the picturesque village of Sidari!
Corfu, also known as Kerkyra, is one of Greece’s most captivating islands, renowned for its stunning landscapes, rich history, and warm hospitality. Nestled in the turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea, this island offers a harmonious blend of lush greenery, azure bays, and sandy beaches. The allure of Corfu lies not only in its natural beauty but also in its fascinating cultural heritage.
Immerse yourself in the island’s history by exploring its charming Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Wander through narrow alleys adorned with pastel-colored houses, traditional tavernas, and boutique shops. Marvel at the grandeur of the Old Fortress, standing majestically at the entrance of the town, guarding the island’s past.
Venture beyond the town to discover a diverse landscape that ranges from olive groves and cypress trees to rugged cliffs and secluded coves. Corfu boasts a myriad of beautiful beaches, each offering its unique allure. Whether you prefer the lively atmosphere of bustling beaches or the tranquil seclusion of hidden coves, Corfu has something for everyone.
The vibrant nightlife and numerous tourist amenities that this contemporary community offers draw a large number of travellers to Sidari every summer.
For the evening, you may select between traditional restaurants and international food, followed by a beverage or dancing in a disco club till late. Furthermore, many tourist businesses are open until late at night, making it ideal for a night of shopping.
Throughout the day, in addition to several beach activities, an organized excursion to the Diapondia islands, Paxi and Antipaxi, the Paleokastrisa region, or Albania to view the lonely coast is available.
You can also choose to go scuba diving or horseback riding.
There are 3 most important beaches; one of those is the famous Canal D’Amour. The other two beaches are a very long sandy bay and a smaller, extremely picturesque one surrounded by wind-shaped stones. This little bay is unique and offers plenty of seclusion. We look forward to welcoming you to this captivating island and inviting village, where unforgettable memories are waiting to be created.
“Where the azure sea meets emerald landscapes, and history whispers through cobblestone streets. A treasure trove of beauty and culture, where every moment is a timeless memory.”
